About FiberMaxxing

FiberMaxxing is an independently run reference site built around one goal: making it fast to answer "how much fiber is actually in this?" without wading through a dozen conflicting supplement blogs.

What We Built

  • A fiber calculator that estimates your daily target from age and sex, based on standard dietary guidelines.
  • A food database covering legumes, whole grains, fruit, vegetables, seeds/nuts, and fiber supplements, with soluble/insoluble breakdowns per serving.
  • Side-by-side comparisons between foods so you can see which of two options actually delivers more fiber per serving.
  • Guides on the practical side of raising fiber intake — bloating, GLP-1 interactions, IBS, pregnancy, kids, and meal planning.

Where the Numbers Come From

Fiber, calorie, and protein values in our database are compiled from standard public nutrition data sources and cross-checked for consistency across common serving sizes. Values are estimates for typical preparations — actual fiber content varies by brand, ripeness, and cooking method, so treat every number here as a reference point, not a lab-grade measurement.

What We're Not

FiberMaxxing is not written or reviewed by registered dietitians or medical professionals, and nothing on this site is medical advice. It's a practical, editorially-maintained reference tool. If you have a digestive condition, are pregnant, or are managing a chronic illness, talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your fiber intake — see our full Terms & Medical Disclaimer for details.
